Hi all, we have been looking at some houses to rent from the web, and one of the terms we've come across is "multi-family"... the house is a duplex. Does this mean the house has two floors, or that it is divided into two accomadation units?

The later. Duplex usually is like a "semi detached" side by side, but sometimes its top and bottom floors.
