Haha good question!

Well I've actively been trying to find a game design job in Canada for about 6 months now (after I got my POE from IEC), and for whatever reason it's not happening. I'm hoping it's mainly due to the fact that I’m not in the country yet and fingers crossed I’ll have more luck once I’m there! My POE expires in February so if I’m going to go, now's the time to do it!

The plan is to keep looking for design jobs once i'm there but I'd like to do something else with my time in between job hunting and doing some portfolio work.

Also the games industry is fantastic but it might be a nice break to do something else for a bit, get some perspective back and all.

Has anyone else had any experience job hunting from outside of Canada? Ideally I’d sneak in a bit of travel while proper job hunting if a temp job doesn't work out. Anyone been in this situation or have any suggestions on what to do that'll let me work and see a bit of Canada along the way?

As always you guys have already been massively helpfully, any other advice would be awesome Thanks
