temp leading to permanent
hi , ive just read a thread about temp working visas and wondered if anyone could verify what i understood? so you can obtain a temp working visa to go to canada, do you have to have arranged employment before or can you just go over and find work? also does the job you get have to be on their list? if it doesnt can that still lead to permanent residence? how does the permanent residence bit work? im just new at the canadian visa system im afraid, i nknow loads about oz but nowt about canada yet! this seems a little bit of a hit or miss way into canada? we have 2 children so i would hate to get there for a year and then have to leave and return to the UK any advice would be great thankyou

Basically--
You need a job for a TWP, then you have to apply for PR.
