Default Telling Mum

My mum has never been the most supportive in the world, but as it's her b'day tomorrow, 75th, we went round with our good news
Before giving her the cards we gave her the WP letter to read. She was still convinced I wouldn't pass the med till i explained that the letter meant i had passed.
She asked when we would be going as we have to sell cars house etc etc
We replied in 5 weeks-- what a b'day surprise
this gives her less time to moan about my weight before I go

People find it very hard to be happy for us immigrants sometimes - she was bound to be a bit sad though as it means you are really going right? Nevermind, you need to do what is right for you guys! Good luckm and celebrate the news yourselves, even if others arent so quick to!
