Hi,
I am looking to hear form people who work in telecoms in Canada (preferably Toronto) or in the UK who are looking to make to move to Canada, or have made the move recently to Canada.
Currently I work in telecoms as a 1st/2nd line NOC tech.....approx CCNA level.
I have worked with BT/openreach as a engineer, Overhead work, underground work, customer installs, customer faults, Braodband...all copper no fibre experience.
I also had a bit of time working in provisioning and project work.
So I am looking for some salary guides for telecom field techs working with copper network and cisco kit, noc techs 1st/2nd line, CCNA level roles, project coordinator and provisioning.
Thanks

I can't seem to upload it, when I press the upload button I get a message saying it can't be done on the webserver (I've tried Chrome and Explorer) am I just being dense?

Thanks for the replies, I will have a look through the pdf today and see what I can find out from that...and thank you.
I thought the range would be about 50-70k, which I hope will be enough as my wife will only work 2 days a week, but we will see how the figures turn out.
Again if you work in this field and wish to pass on a salary range that would be great :-)
My current UK range is approx $55k but I do get 6 weeks hols plus public, which I believe in Canada would be halved at best on about 3 weeks hols + public
