Hello all! My name is Raj. My husband and I are hoping to move to Winnipeg in the future. Are there any secondary school teachers moving out there who can advise me? I have researched insofar as we are aware that there is no shortage of teachers and I may have to do supply for a year or so, which I don't mind. My husband is an accountant and should find it easier to get a job. Apparently I may also have to some further study?

Getting There

Welcome to BE. If you do a search on prior posts, the issue of teaching has come up a number of times, likewise accountancy I believe. I have a notion that there is at least one regular poster on BE who is an accountant (in my head, it is Surrey Expat, based in BC, but I might have that completely wrong). Don't know if that poster was an accountant pre coming to Canada and whether there are major differences between the provinces but if they see this post, they might be able to offer some advice.
