Default TEACHERS: information required

hi

can people who have emigrated and become teachers in Canada please tell me of your experiences?

i would like to know what your uk experience/teacher qualifications were; what province you teach/taught in; and what did you have to do in Canada to become a teacher there

my wife qualified here via a law degree, then PGCE, so wondered how provinces recognise such qualifications, if at all..has anyone any experiences of this?

would she still have to do a one year course in Canada like i have been reading about, its not 100 percent clear?

many thanks

Paul
