I have been working at the same place from March last year and have paid 15,000 in tax. I have heard that in the first year you are in Canada on an IEC you get all your tax back, is this true? Any advice would be much appreciated too
Thanks

No it is not true. File a tax return if you have overpaid you get a refund, If you underpaid you get a bill. Personal allownces are prorated, so you would get 1/12 allowance for each month you are tax resident.
