My OH has recently relocated from Ontario to Saskatoon and his employee has given him a form that lists everything you can claim back on your tax return. They also told him if the amount you claim is more than the tax you paid, you can roll some of the amount over for the next years return.
You are quite right.

The OP was asking about moving costs to Canada from overseas. (S)he can't claim those.
