Default Which tax forms?

Okay hopefully someone can help me work out which tax return forms I should fill out: BC, Alberta or non-resident.

I was in Canada on BUNAC from Nov 08-Nov 09. Spent the first four months in BC working as a waitress, making very little money etc. Then I moved to Calgary and spent six months working in admin, making a good wage, paying lots of provincial and federal tax, getting my Alberta Health Care Card etc.

Anyway, now I can't work out which tax return to do! If I do a non-resident one, am I able to claim any of my provincial tax back? I payed A LOT.

Thanks!!

Is this in the right forum? Should I move it to the immigration one?

Don't file a non-resident return. The correct return is for the province you were living in on December 31, or at the time you left Canada. So, from the information you give you should use the BC package for 2008 and the Alberta package for 2009.

You will probably get some tax back.
