Taking small TV through UK customs
anyone know / or has taken a small lcd tv through customs and been allowed to or not?! i really dont want to get there then they say i cant take it, i would not know what to do if they didnt allow me to....Its not very big so would fit in my and luggage...best to find out before hand....

exactly what i am thinking...is there a way of finding out for definates if im allowed or not, as me and partner will be going to the airport ourselves and if not accepted would have to just kind of leave it there, which i do not want to do.....

It shouldn't be a problem. It's no bigger than a laptop. You might want to keep an eye on the weight of your carry-on bag, though.

The ONLY time this happened was flying out of Tel Aviv but they also wanted to see my recently saved documents and calendar to make sure i was telling the truth. Pretty strict airport for sure. I wouldn't worry about the midget TV. |
