Default taking guns to Nova Scotia

has anyone taken their shotguns with them over to Canada? how do you go about taking them with you? do you have to apply for a licence before arriving or does your current licence give you so many days?
thanks.

Hi Maple
Why don't you check out the Customs and REvenue web site....Or check out the Canadian Firearms website...
If I were home I could give you more info....greetings from Florida by the way...

This link I have for this has just told me it's knackered but you should be able to find the link from www.cfc-ccaf.gc.ca we were actually6 looking at antique guns and the happy customs man in Saskatoon was terribly helpful and demonstrated an amazing flexibleness I wasn't prepared for. That said, probably won't get that in Toronto or Calgary!...sigh...I love Saskatchewan....so laid back

If the link doesn't work let me know and I'll dig around.
