Default Swap anyone?

Anyone moving to Canada and pining over disposing of an LCD TV that won't work in Canada?

We brought our 2 year old 46" Sony Bravia back to the UK only to find out that it virtually the only TV that Sony have ever made that refuses to cooperate with the PAL system. It's also a touch too big for our British sized house. We can get a PAL-NTSC converter but I'm getting to stage where we can't be bothered.

So does anyone moving to Canda fancy a swap, your UK TV for our Sony. Only proviso is that it mustn't be too old and a decend brand name

Thanks Tangram. He was such a wonderful GSD. The only thing that consoles is that we did absoutely everything that we could to try and save him and that his last few days were back with us.

It's a question of whether size really matters...

Because the post explicitly asked if anyone wanted to swap? Because eBay-ing a Canadian-spec TV that doesn't work in the UK won't get a very good price? Because the OP would still have to find a UK TV to buy?

Seems a perfectly valid epithet to me.

Well, its a NA spec tv so that does widen the appeal somewhat, but I suppose it wasn't the most helpful answer.
