Default Sushi in Kelowna

Hi, I am hoping someone from Kelowna can help me with this one. I am going to Kelowna tomorrow and really would like to eat some decent sushi (I have no sushi restaurant in my town). Does anyone know/recommend a nice sushi train place in Kelowna?? I specify a train because that is really what I seek. Thanks!!

Tokyo Sushi on the corner of Ellis and Lawrence in downtown Kelowna. Nice little place and great ambience. Avoid Momos at all costs, is plain nasty.

Recommend Ozekei on Spall just off of Highway 97 Southbound is good, a bit rustic and no speaky the Eeengleesh but good all round Japanese grub served in booths, old skool style. Lunch tray specials are good VFM and tasty.

Hope this helps, enjoy K-Town.

Rich.

Yep, I agree with Rich. Another Japanese restaurant we go to is Genjies on Spall.

#1 tip....don't think Kelowna is just 'the strip' on 97. There's downtown, and the Orchard Park Mall, and Pandosy area (Pandosy Village) and umm...well theres mountains and scenery but based on the weather forecast you won't see much tomorrow.

If it's wet as likely a tour round Mission Hill Winery on Westbank is very informative, very impressive also, for a $5 entry, tour, wine tasting and wine shop too. We have the art gallery in the Cultural Area downtown off Ellis. There's a museum near there too. Suggest you pick up the Kelowna guidebook available FOC from most gas stations or get a copy from Tourist Info on 97 southbound approaching downtown area on the right.

Enjoy

Rich.

Mission is I think the only winery that charges an admission. We usually send visitors to Summerhill Pyramid Winery and they come back sozzled for free (I must have been married to a Yorkshire man for too long!)
