The parallax effect on the clouds is a good distraction from that depressingly flat landscape.

+1, doesn't inspire me to do that road trip. And what is it with people putting their feet on the dash here, surely that is not a safe position in the event of an accident, air bag smashing legs up into face type scenario.

Last time I checked or drove Winnipeg to Calgary it was only just under 1350 kms. Which way did he go via Florida, Mexico or something?
Did he at least change the oil on that 16,500 km trip?

So Im guessing the video with a shot every 5 seconds equates to a speed of 16,500 kms/h covering the 1350 km distance for the length of the video.

Why record the most boring highway in all of Canada ?

I'll be doing a similar trip myself at the end of next month - Vancouver to Winnipeg! I have heard about the flat landscape once you reach the prairies, but at least in your video it looks fairly green. Cool stuff, makes you realize how impressive the Highway is really to stretch all that way.
