Got sunburned yesterday after being out for 20mins!!!! My Peely Wahlly scottish skin is gonna crisp up nicely when summer comes. AAAARRGGH! It was only 21deg. That was hotter then it got last summer in Dundee!!!

I move into my new house on Monday (long time coming) so I hope the good weather keeps up so I can sit on my new deck!! (with SPF 1000).

Me too. I spent all winter toning down the freckles with probable carcinogens, and I've ruined it in an hour in April. This is not on. I guess we Scots should not be this far south

Agreed. This was not a thing I was expecting. There aren'teven any leaves on the trees!!!! I will melt to a greezzzy spot when the real summer comes!!!

We were sat out on our zero gravity chairs on the deck yesterday and enjoyed the lovely weather.........bliss. Pool still has a layer of ice on it though

It has been a great week and I have noticed that all the birds are singing too - thank goodness the bluejays are not very vocal yet

It's been snowing this morning in the Fraser Valley! Had to go back inside and warm up it was so cold.

you wait until it actually gets hot in the summer.... 90 humidity and a beautiful 38. it pretty much always warms up at this time of year - does a bit of a rollercoaster...get your A/C ready!

scottish people are not meant to be in the sun, think my whiteness would reflect the sun off me. we are a nation that can be so white we are a sort of blue colour
it would make a great selling point for suncream if we sold as SCOTTISH PROTECTOR

I was in Simcoe last week at a training course. It's nice there!

I am really annoyed, I didn't think it was that hot or I was in the sun that long and yes I am sunburnt. The bottom of my arms, my face and my chest. bright red like a lobster, it happens every year here! Not only is it painful but embarrasing as well.

I put all the effort into my little boy not getting sunburnt and it happens to me

My daughter was at the Jay's game yesterday afternoon...the roof of the stadium was open...she got sunburnt.

Burnt again Got a nice V on my chest, the shame! Bought a bottle of factor 50 now, will use it today.

With a name misspelt like mine you can guess I have some scottish genes, and I paid the price for them at the weekend too.
