Summer in Canada?

I hate mozzies too! and I am allergic to their bites as well (it swells up and goes really manky - I bet you really needed to know that
)
I would prefer somewhere with no mosquitoes cos they still seem to manage to bite me through clothes even if I am drenched in repellant.

Oh Mr P you just love to be right - or at least think you are
So I ask you why is it always at least 2 degrees warmer in Lethbridge as reported by the Global Calgary Morning News programme

I think it is the fact that the Calgary night-time temps are a lot cooler - which brings down our 'average'. 'Tis the altitude you see. Maybe.

Gaynor it's not a case of me thinking I'm right, I am quoting Environment Canada's weather winners website it's all there in the link if you care to look.

Saying that, the end of 2008 and start to 2009 has been out of the ordinary weather wise too!

Very True, in 2008, summer here in the Okanagan was late arriving and not as long as most summers (don't even think we held onto our heatwave as long as normal either? .. which can reach 37-40c at best!)
