Hi,
Planning a trip to Paris. Any ideas on where I could get a colored (preferably glossy) map of the subway system in Paris. Is there a French tourism office which posts this sort of maps and possibly brochures to Canada?
Thanks and Happy New Year.

Then they can print it on glossy photo paper

You can find Paris maps (including foldable glossy ones that include subway maps) in any good bookstore with a decent travel book section.

I think the Time Out guide to Paris has a glossy one, and I saw it in Chapters last time I was there. There are hundreds of great free tour guides to Paris on line. It's bizzare but I only live a two hour drive away, but we had never "been", passed through lots - knowing that this time next year we will be in Canada, we just spent ten days there and had a magic time, did the whole tourist shebang and loved every cheesy second. I was actually surprised at how reasonably priced lots of the big attractions are - the food was terrible, overpriced tourist fodder, but probably no worse than anywhere else. Have a great time planning your trip, always most exciting thing - don't miss the cattacombes, they were wonderful.

I have a T shirt with the map on it, it's a bit old but you can have it and shellac it.

I've lived in Paris for three years and wasn't aware that we had a subway system! No buses here either...

You obviously don't leave the house very often???
