hi everybody.
I'm 16 years old and about to finish my GCSE's. I've been to canada on holiday many times and would love to live there in the future. I was thinking if I studied for a qualifacation in canada, it would be pretty easy to get permanent residency after ive lived there and studied there for a while. I was hoping to do a course on animal care as I am planning on becoming a vet. I was wondering if anyone out there has had any experience of this and how it went. did anyone go to canada to study and never came back. I have tried to do some research but the immigration website doesnt seem to be working at the moment.
your help in this is appreciated.

Where do you get your information? While there are a few universities, colleges, specific courses and/or programs in Canada that have minimum age requirements, most do not. It’s high school diplomas and/or specific courses that matter in terms of admission.

Ever wonder how many of the here-today-gone-tomorrow posters are relocation consultants?

How many 16 year olds do you know who live independently over here? How many 16 year olds would even get a look-in to rent a place on their own, whether they were admitted to a collge level or University course or not? In BC, my information is from the CFCSA and the daily grind of 16 year olds trailing into my office who do not qualify for under age income assistance because they have not been living independently for two years. 16 year olds who have yet to graduate, if ever, as the system is designed to keep them in school until they are 18. This kid has the equivalent of Grade 12 at 16 - with his GSCE's - but find me a place anywhere that would take him. In BC, he is still a child and would have to have provision made for him to stay here and study
