Student Permit
Hi all,
Apologies if it has been asked before. My childrens passports will expire in February 2011 so we renewed their passports as we are going on holiday to US next week. The childrens student permits was stapled on their old passports which are now cut at the back. My question is do we just transfer the student permits to the new passports or do we need to inform Canadian immigration/ or border services of their new passports?

Would have thought just carrying their old passports would be enough

Thanks Silverdragon. I'm sure that it's not something that is completed but just wanted some assurance that it will be fine. We will bring both their old passports (expires in Feb. 2011) and their new ones.
