Hello,
I've been disappointed with the printer that we bought after we arrived here and I'd like use the laser printer that we shipped over from the UK. I wonder if anyone can recommend a step up transformer that they may have purchased and where they got it from. I've looked online and I've seen plenty of them but I'm not sure which one to buy!

Depending on the cost of a transformer and the availability of replacement toner cartridges for your UK printer, would it not be worth having a look at purchasing a new laser printer here?
You can pick up an HP 1200dpi LaserJet at Future Shop online for $129.99 and I'm pretty sure you can get it in their store for the same price.
Cheers

Hi
try
http://www.voltageconverters.com/
Their service is exceptional and delivery within a few days.
Transformers are alot cheaper here in Canada. Just got a 750w step up for about £30 which would have cost me well over a £100 in England.
Strange that your laser printer is not 110/240v as is the case with most printers, and would just need a change of plug.
Best of luck anyway.

You could also try London Drugs, we have bought a lot of computer equipment from them. They also have a great returns policy if you do have any problems with anything (not that we have). We also bought a multi region DVD player from them - in the sale it was reduced to $40
