British Expats - Step-Children??

Has anyone successfully emigrated into Canada with step-children??

The reason I ask is the info below that was seen after following a link posted in the truckers forum. (Taken from page 5 here)

Section 8 of the Alberta Education Act. See Para 4 of the document attached and the exceptions to Sec 8 - scenario E.

It would appear that the two documents contradict each other somewhat but the one you linked to seems to make more sense and is more reasonable.

It won't make any difference - provided you qualify for whichever visa you are applying for and the dependent kids accompany you and your spouse.
