Hi everyone!
My name is Ian, my wife Debbie and I will be starting the application process for emigrating to Canada on April 5th.
We currently live in Worthing, West Sussex, and are hoping to move to somewhere in the South Cariboo, BC. Small town rural life really appeals to both of us, being nature lovers and fond of, shall we say, 'cooler' weather!
I am 33 years old, Debbie is 26. She is going to be the primary applicant, as she has a degree, and can more easily reach the 67 point requirement. She is an Information Officer for the local health service, I am in IT.
I have been in touch with a few people in the 100 Mile House district office, and everyone is SO friendly and welcoming. They actually seem to want us to move there, which is fantastic!
Anyway, that's us. Wish us luck with the process, and I will see you all in Canada!
Cheers
Ian

Welcome to BE forum. Sounds that you have found a few friendly
people from 100 Mile House. Never been there before, however I heard
positive things about the people there.A friend's brother owns a
nice lake front property at Williams Lake.I heard about him and his
wife went kayaking and they could hear the loons haunting calls from
the lake.Properties there are quite affordable.
