Agreed.

I'm an Albertan ... multi sexual would be a bigger issue than multi racial ... maybe the rest of Canada has to move into the 21st centary??

Sorry, could you be a little bit clearer?

But, the really big issue of this thread is raccoons. My neighbour to the south traps them in cage-trap devices and then releases them on the Markham side of the 404. We do need more road kill and and I'm sure the Markham folk do much the same, so this is fine with me.

Unfortunately, my neighbour to the north feeds the raccoons biscuits and invites them into his kitchen to do so. Thus I live in a sort of demilitarized zone, patrolled only by my border collie. This dog is scared of sheep (I know!) and cats, but is quite happy to charge at raccoons, secure in the knowledge that they will scurry up a tree, making him look a hero.

Once up the tree, the poor raccoon faces a Faustian choice. North or South? Heaven or Hell?

A bit like the Liberals.

Sorry, no raccoons here ... although we do have skunks.

Skunks would fit just as well into my allegory. Perhaps even better.

The question is ... can they be BBQ'd ... apologies, I'm redneck, but squirrells sure do make good souvlaki.

One tries to be serious here on occasion, but it's quite hard with albertan redneck skunk supporters putting their awe in.

Iggy pop was on CBC's radio thingy this morning. He is very good in a lot of ways, but he seems to think he's the best thing since sliced Trudeau. He may be right, but he's got a long way to go on the foreign policy issues in my opinion. Yes, he's an intellectual, yea, he's fluent at articulating his position....but it's a bit disturbing that in this regard (the latter part) he reminds me of Tony Blair. Maybe it's me, who knows?

Oh look. What's the first thing Duceppe does when Parliament reopens? States that he will instruct all his MPs to vote against any attempt by the Conservatives to kill off the gun registry.
