Default Sponsor from within Canada or while abroad?

I'll be sponsoring hubby and was looking for details on the pros and cons of these methods - or a link to a similiar thread

I'm debating which way to go at the moment and just know there'll be some wise folks out there! Like many of your I'm spending a lot of time on this site and I have to say it's been great.

Had Doree Bonner out today, 2 more companies coming this week. Eeeeek, haven't lived in Canada for 10 years so I'll have to learn to speak Canadian again.

Cheers (oops, I guess I mean thanks, eh)

Relatively straight forward, book your medicals asap, they can take a while, in the meantime send off for your husbands criminal check which will take a few weeks to come back, I think thats £10.00...and while you waiting for both of those, your need to fill in both sets of forms, sponsor and applicant. Once everything is ready, your then send it off to Mississauga, CPC...I've kind of skimmed all over the place, but that is a helicopter overview....

John

good luck eh!

hi and welcome aboard!

i'm just starting off on sponsoring my common-law partner, so have been reading loads of threads and posts on this subject

from what i've read and understand sponsoring from abroad is by far the quicker route, for some reason inland sponsorship can take an age
also i believe that you can still sponsor from abroad whilst living in canada but you'd have to search the forum for more info on this (haven't taken as much interest as it doesn't apply to me)

good luck and happy reading!!
