Hi all,
I was wondering whether there is anyone out there that has either first hand experience with children that have special needs (within a primary school), or know how I can get some advice. We are currently researching schools etc in the Toronto area when we hopefully come over to live. Our 6yr old son has a statment of special educational needs. It means he has a learning support assistant with him most hours in the school day to help him with his ASD,(autistic spectrum disorder).
Sorry it's such a long question, it's my first post! Any hints, advice or websites would be much appreciated.

Thanks Daven for your reply. For a moment I thought I was not going to get a response.
Thank you.
