Default Sorry! Fairly urgent quick q - can we bring electric toothbrushes?

Sorry to ask this. I have searched but nothing seems to be definitive

I have an oral b electric toothbrush and my mother in law just said she wants to buy my husband one but I have no idea if they are useable in Canada.

They are rated the usual 220v but it does seem like they are usable over there? I imagine they just take longer to recharge......

Any yay or nay answers would be fantastic

Always a tricky one this. Thing is Canadian teeth are metric and use Robinson's drivers. An expert will be along soon.

Never stick anything that involves electricity and water in your mouth.

Toothpaste is an excellent electrical insulator so just be sure to use plenty in case the batteries have become overcharged.

(It's also very good at thermal conductivity, so if your gums begin to gently warm, use that as an indicator that the batteries might be overcharged!)
