Default Some Advice Please

Hi There,

I just wanted to try and get some advice from anyone here.

Basically, my partner and i are thinking of moving to Canada, from the UK, possibly in the Ontario state. My partner will be working as as nurse in one of the hospitals, not too sure where, but possibly in Newmarket.

So my questions are: What is life in Canada like? And why? Comapring prices here in the UK, which is has become a very expensive place to live, how does Canada differ?

So thank you in advance for any comments. And hope to hear from anyone soon.

Thanks.

First piece of advice: Canada has Provinces.

Second piece of advice: The racecourse at Newmarket pales in comparison to the one in the UK.

Canada is no where near as cheap as five years ago, but overall as people in fairly decent jobs, you would have a better quality of life here for the most part.

Moving here is no cakewalk but is always pays dividends to those who persevere.

Hi there, as a newbie thought I would point you to the best resource of info on life in Canada and all the fun stuff to do with getting there, have a look at the BE Wiki thread (top of the Canada forum) as Judy and a few others have been posting alot of invaluable info on it the past few months, well worth a look through to start off with
