Hello folks
Just accepted an offer on the house because it was only £2500 short of the asking price. We have our medicals next week so I am really hoping we get our visas by end of July because thats when the buyer wants to move in.
Feeling a bit gittery.

What do you think Clare, have we sold too early or do we have a chance of getting Visas within 2 months of taking medicals. We are all fit and healthy and have no previous medical problems.

I want to be out there so fast and then i dont.
We are only going for research trip this July so dont want to rush things - we may wait till we get visas before putting house on market which at this rate wil probably be September time and then take a leisurely move out there.
I dont want to emigrate with 3 small kids in winter so may even wait till next spring.
Is it 1 year to land from time of med requests or visas?
It all happens so scarily fast after med requests doesn't it; after such a long wait its a hell of an adjustment to make.
Not surprised you're jittery - i am too

You have 12 months from the day you attend your medical/xray, [whichever comes first] to 'land.'
