Yeah and guess who packed all her fleeces in a container and just spent a small fortune at MEC today. She also left all her rain gear back in England in a symbolic gesture. She's now cold and damp but happy.

I think Calgary has had an unusually pleasant climate the last decade or so. When we lived there the cottonwood trees started to lose their leaves by about the 20th August and when my kids went to school in September- though just outside Calgary- they used to make snowmen. It was always snowy in September and sometimes icy sitting outside at the Stampede in July and definitely winter wear for Halloween though maybe too cold for the toddlers to go out.
Welcome back to your real Canadian world Calgary.

Didn't happen though! Well not near me anyway! Sure, we had some 'white stuff', but hardly had chance to settle. The best weather forecast in this City is the "go outside and see" kind
