We have a truck. Believe me when you have long legs getting and out of s truck is so much easier than falling into and climbing out of a regular car.

We have one too. It's much better than the car at pulling the tractor out when it gets stuck in the mud.

I want one too, our SUV wont cut the mustard for towing my horse.

I wouldn't mind a truck or small SUV as I am tall and those vehicles provide more leg room and overall comfort, but they are priced too high and use too much gas. We have been using a car share service a bit so we can have access to larger vehicle when needed, and so much nicer driving a small SUV, smoother, quieter and roomier and easier to get in and out of and overall better visibility of the road a head. In a Mazda 2 visibility is poor as nearly every care around you is taller and blocks your view ahead...

I would much prefer a larger vehicle over our Mazda 2 though, an hour in it is about all I can handle...lol

Exactly. I have a 36" inside leg. So when I get in a regular car I literally have to fold my legs up and then figure out getting back out. It's a nightmare when parked up against a curb!!

On longer trips in our car, I have to put my legs up on the dash to stay comfortable, just can't have the knees pushing against the dash long term, starts to hurt..lol

Driving is a pain too, the mirrors don't allow for a tall person to see much out of them, and the stupid frame of the car creates a blind spot when turning left, not good for a tall person these small cars..

If you have airbags that's really not a good idea. If they deploy your knees will be fired back into you face.

I know, but there isn't any other option, so it's a risk one has to take.

Not nearly as much as your legs going through the windscreen. I saw an accident where this happened and a girl had both legs through the windscreen

Still better than country music blaring across the lake

1. If you were looking for excitement why would you move to Barrie? Canada in general is where you move for family security and safety. If you wanted excitement try Toronto, Vancouver or MIAMI lol

2. I don't exactly know what you classify as boring people? I find it rather boring that most British people would go to a pub during the weekdays and get pissed. Rather pathetic actually

If you're looking for excitement go to Vegas not Barrie

I don't really understand the fascination with "trucks" but my neighbour had one because he owns a business which required it. I don't know it came it pretty useful when he gave me a ride to work after a massive snowstorm. None of our cars could make it through the nearly 2 feet of snow but his truck went straight through.

THey are a lot safer to drive when the roads are full of snow and super icy
