SIN application
Hi there, just a quick question if I may? We have already landed our visas and will be moving out for good in June this year. How long do you have to be in Canada before you can apply for your SIN?

2 minutes 
you can go as soon as you've landed , take your passport and COPR , give them an address ( probably needs to be in Canada) and bob's your aunt. you get your number there and then on a slip of paper
or you can leave it until you return

probably thats how long they quote you for your card to arrive or something , but we did ours the day after we landed .
