Hye,
A very simple question...which is the cheapest place to buy a mobile phone in Toronto/GTA and what would the price of the cheapest model be? I would like to buy it from a store and not online. Also does anybody have any experience of the cheapest/best mobile connection deal?
Thanks in advance.

. I've got Rogers AT&T "Pay as you Go" IIRC phone was about $150, but as I dont use the phone a lot, I pay $25 every 2 months for the service, so it works out cheaper than Free phone plans that cost about $25 per month minimum. Radio Shack stores sell them. Bell also offer a similar service, but at the time rogers threw in voice mail and text messaging and a nicer ericsson phone.

Yes, Fido basically seems just to have coverage for the major communities. Although at one RV park west of Victoria, I could use my Fido phone when the manager swore that Telus phones would not work.
