Default Should I be worried???

I sent our passports to london on the 1st of Oct 2009, and I know they arrived because I had a tracking number. It is now the 2nd of Nov and I still have not got them back, so should I be worried.....

Some people have said that they have gone to the London office and collected them within two weeks. I can not do this because I dont live in england. I have been to the official website and it does say that the Visa office will use other methods of delivery for overseas applicants due to the postal strike, so am I panicking too early?

Is anyone else waiting?

Hi. I'm waiting too. However, London received my passport on 22nd Oct. A friend who recently went through all this said it took 3 weeks from the date London got her passport until she got it back here in Canada.

You should give the London Office a call, (44–20) 7258–6600.

I was hoping to get mine back next week as I'm desperate to start working. I'm sure you won't have to wait too much longer. Keep us updated mate

Mine took just over 3 weeks and i only live about 10 miles from the CIC building.

I'd give it another week and then chase it up.
