Default Should a Canadian Printer work with an Irish laptop

Does anyone know if a Canadian printer will work with an Irish laptop. Are the USB connections different? Anyone?

Thanks

No reason it shouldn't provided you are providing the right amount of power to the printer.

USB connections are universal.
