Wow!! that's really good. I'll give them a ring now. Is there any reason why they are so much cheaper than £7000+ everyone else is quoting? We have packed up everyting ourselves so no packing required. We are shipping 4 motorbikes & an old van which is why we need the 40'

We have checked the price with them again to make sure it is right and they say it is. We are taking two motocross bikes as well and they will crate them for us and they are doing all the packing this end and unpacking that end! Our contact is Mr J Chudley 01752 896577 - they have other offices - where are you?

I've just spoken to them and they are coming out on 2nd May to do an estimate. We are in West Sussex, north of Brighton.

If we can get it for less the £7k I'll be over the moon. I owe you one  or several.

The problem seems to be that we are going to McBride which is 9 hours drive north of Vancouver. That journey seems to bump the price up as you would expect. Although it could be comparable with a crossing to the island.

Hope it comes back okay for you - I would have thought the ferry crossing should cost more than a 9 hour drive because the latter has less hassle and won't take much longer in man hours anyway. Let me know how you get on - Angela

White & co were more than £7000 last year when they quoted for us for 40'
