shipping items
#1
I'm having difficulty in finding out how best to ship some items to PEI from the UK. I'm not even planning on shipping anything as big as a sofa, just some books and personal effects.
Does anyone know of a good way to ship a few boxes of things? or where to look for a rough pricing guide?
Thanks

Have you tried Canada Post?
Looks like their maximum is 30 kg per parcel:

Looks as if they only ship FROM Canada. I'll have a look at the Post Office tho

Take a look at this

That seems like a good shipping option. DHL prices seem similar as well. Actually, I was probably a little naive about the cost of shipping.
I think I'll get on it asap.
Cheers

Hmm. I was going to suggest excess baggage to start with, but I thought your post said from PEI to UK. Whoops.
What I can definitely recommend is not to go with Parcel Force as most post offices seem completely unable to deal with a large package.
Anglo Pacific

are another option. It's probably worth being aware that these sorts of companies, I think, tend only to deliver to airports; whereas a parcel delivery company should get to your door.

OK, Thanks guys.
Yeah, seems like PEI is an alien landscape to some of these shipping companies, but I'll get there.
