Have received a quotation for a company called Freightworld, we aren't taking alot the larger items.......and it was worked out that for about 7 cubic metres.......all in differring size boxes, would cost £935GBP..........

Which seems cheap, (been a Yorkshireman, this matters), the transfer takes from 11 to 14 days...........

he did mention some costs to pay the customs .......which adds to the quote.
So my question, to those already in Canada, were these costs built in to your quote or is this why this quote seems cheap.

i'm getting other quotes , but value opinions on here.....ta-ra

Our costs included everyhting right up to the door here, but I recall that some quotes did not include the costs of the Candian carrier who stores it pending customs cearance and may ship it to your door.

No customs costs paid here at either end, for >500 cubic feet of stuff.
