Just wondered if anyone has had any good or bad experiences recently with the following shipping companies:
Anglo Pacific
PSS
GB Liners
Britannia

Have got them all coming in to quote - there are good and bad points for all on this forum but just wondered if anyone had any recent experience they could share.

Ive booked my shipping company, I had a few quotes one of them being Anglo Pacific, however I chose Excess bagage company in the end as they were significantly cheaper, but at the same time givng me the impression they were still a reputable company. However this could differ for many people - for a start I am not taking any furniture or appliances, just what they class as excess baggage, CDs, DVDs, photos, Clothing, personal keep sakes, etc.

Hi, we too were looking at Robinsons, they have a very good reputation, although they are one of the higher end prices. What did you ship and how much did it cost you?

4 bedroom house contents and cost was £4000 plus ins. They were very good. We packed nothing they did it all. They were with us for day and half. Allocated one person who dealt with all our questions. Our container not shipped to us yet as only been here week and half and struggling tofind house to rent.

Thats not a bad price really, do they unpack the other end also. Full Service of supplying boxes, wrapping etc.

Devon Alberta in a lovely B & B recommend it to anyone. We are struggling to find house to rent but think we may have found one. Fingers crossed.

We used Anglo Pacific last August and we couldn't fault them. Only one minor breakage and all staff from chap who came to do our quote, office staff and packers were great.
Everything went like clockwork!!!
