Ultimately it is what is also available in your area. In Vernon, the area the OP was asking about, we do not have Optik available and so have no choice if we want a useable speed internet, Shaw or nothing. We don't need a bundle as we stream. Ironically Shaw can't supply us with a landline even though we have a great internet service from them so we have to use Telus. Customer support is I feel probably as good/ bad as each other.
