Hi i am new to this site, i have tried to find some information regarding electronic security or electrical jobs in canada but have been unable to find any.

If any one has any information as to what the current situation is regarding the above jobs i would really appreciate it, i am not sure as to where abouts we are thinking of going as yet, i am just trying to get some information to start with.

Do you already have a visa? That may well affect the answers you get.

I dont have a visa as yet as i am really testing the water as to the job situation

What do you mean by "electrical job"? Are you a qualified time-served electrician? If so, your occupation is on THE LIST and qualifies you to apply for a (PR) Permanent Resident visa. If not, you will most likely have to obtain pre-arranged employment before applying for a TWP (Temporary Worker Permit).

Yes i am a timed served electrician, i am 16th edition qualified and will be taking my 17th edition soon aswell as testing and inspection.

Hi in that case i suppose you can apply for PR under FSW Cat 1 NOC : 7241.
