Default Satellite TV

Ok decision is made to go with Bell, they are putting together a good package with a free HDpvr for 3 years and half price second box. Question is can I use either box to give a signal to another tv, like the sky link did in the UK. I dont mind both TVs showing the same programme, but dont really want to have to buy or rent a 3rd box.

Bells service sucks. Go through Telus, you still get the Bell satellite, but with better service. Telus will also install phone jacks for no extra charge.

We have a 3rd box - bog standard non pvr, non hd, $2 per month rental. Not expensive.
1st box pvr hd rented, 2nd box pvr non hd owned.

With the 9242 yes you can. I haven't but there is that option. The 9242 comes with two remotes for this purpose.

All the TV is rubbish, its the same old crap regardless of who you pay to provide it.

No cable for 2 months now. Life is still good. Actual conversations with family members occur!

But isn't avoiding that what a TV is actually for?

But how can you keep up on how Liverpool are dominating the Premier League and Europa League without cable.

It turns out that its not as terrifying as I thought it might be. Quite the opposite in fact

It turns out that they sometimes have interesting things to say...

It seems in this case that "Ignorance is bliss."

Hi,
Live in Montreal where you are stuck with Bell or Videotron, both as bad as one another and expensive by UK comparison. Content of both is poor to say the least. I use Videotron as a back up but tend to watch UK tv most of the time via internet. Cost is GBP5 per month for all the UK you'd ever want YES...BBC1,2 etc, ITV, C4 etc
All you need to do is contact www.my-private-network.co.uk
Follow instructions, load program and in about 5mins you have UK TV....its that easy. I like to connect laptop to TV via HDMI connection. Have used the service for over 1 year now, its been 100% perfect !
enjoy....

I think that TV is pants here as well, where else will you find Kim Woodburn and Justin and Colin on TV (here in Canada). What about Deal or no Deal. Its not the same without Noel Edmonds and having the contestants open the boxes rather then these glamour girls. What the nora is that about! anyway had me rant naa I'll still continue. Has anyone else seen the Mr Men Show on YTV Its dubbed with a North American accent Its lost all its UK charm. On channel 5 its got this wicked english feel and accents and don't get me started on Thomas the Tank Engine!
