Default SAP operating system

This is a long shot.....but does anybody know what companies might use the SAP operating system?

I use it in my job within third party logistics/distribution and I figure it would be good to apply for jobs which also use the same system.

I've looked on Workopolis and not found much that matches so far.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I thought SAP was an application, not an OS

I know I'm not helping much but we used to us SAP at a company I used to work for in the UK. They sold natural roof slates and also distributed them.

Its like a full Accounts/Sales package isn't it. I just wanted to inform the members that might not know

SAP is an ERP package that (alledgedly) covers everything from accounting, through planning/production/inventory control, to purchasing and HR. It's an evil evil device engineered by germans to cause pain and misery across the world. (Can you tell that I've been through a SAP implementation).

It is in use by larger companies in Canada - for example I know that companies like Husky Energy use it in the Oil and Gas sector.

Careful: those lists normally do not make sense. I can say for example that Siemens is a customer. The question is, which division etc. I have a small list that I can send you by e-mail - PM me. But why don't you just search Workopolis with "SAP" keyword?

And, are you only SAP user? For most companies this will be only "nice to have" experience. The main thing is understanding of process and direct job skills. Learning a couple of SAP transactions for daily work is easy.

Capital Health in Nova Scotia are moving over to SAP. I understand that NS is not where you are heading, but maybe large hospitals/health districts in Ontario are too.
