We actually have lots of humidity too just now but during the winter it's a damper cold than Alberta but much less damp than the UK Lots of salt used here on the roads in the winter.

PS Tuesday is going to reach 40C in New Glasgow - thank goodness for aircon. It's waaay too hot for me

40C in New Glasgow..........ahhhhh just reminds me of Old Glasgow
Cant say i've ever required air con in Glasgow

I am originally from Aberdeen but since moving to New Glasgow I now call myself a New Weegie

New Weegie I like that....We've got some Weegie friends who moved up to Aberdeen (Kintore) & they're coming to visit soon, so i'll have to think of a name for them

2.5 years and I used to live in Blackburn, only 4 miles away from Kintore

We are also very good friends with The Dignans (on BE). Jules (ex Glasgow) and Mike (ex Dundee) have lived in New Glasgow for almost 2 years (all my other lovely friends are Canadians)

PS ask your friend if he wants to buy my car numberplate off me

Love the numberplate a bit strange seeing Dons Fan and Bluenose together in harmony
We met the Dignans at the Truro meet up say hello for us
