While they are clearing the 3 week backlog, 6 weeks of post will build up. When they get to about 12 weeks they just drop it at a tip.

I received a small packet today from the UK. It took three weeks and two days to get here. Normally it's a week.

And yet I bought an item from Ebay yesterday morning and it arrived today! Which I was not expecting.

Wonder if it has only been affecting some areas? Guess we'll get a backlog after the next couple of days though but thankfully not expecting anything vital.

I'm expecting a letter sized package from Dublin which was supposed to have been sent here about October 6th.....would this have been affected or do packages from Ireland come straight to Canada w/o being routed through somewhere in the UK?

If it's recorded or special delivery it'll not be affected.

Just received our first christmas card from the UK, posted Southampton 9th October, so took about ten days to arrive.

My brother posted my birthday card from Cheshire last week September, and I still havent received it!

Nope cant track from Royal Mail - Royal Mail can't even track it as my mom has been into her local PO and the owner can't track it as the number isn't compatible:(
