Bad times, all looked good when they packed. One box completely lost, one bicycle suspension fork crushed. Lots of the items were damp when I opened them.
The one box they lost was a specialist part made by one person in this world. They would pay to have it replaced but not for the postage. I ended up buying the part at 217 pounds, shipping was 70 pounds and then a nice COD on the door of $60.
I have given up waiting for answers and have paid for repairs to my bicycle and replacing the lost parts.
It's been a month since submitting my claims, allegedly they use RSA insurers (Royal Sun Alliance). I do not hold my breath and will have to write off 500 pounds in damages all though I had taken out insurance with them.
They promise you the world, scare you into taking useless insurance and then give you real poor service when it goes wrong.
I would not use Robinsons International ever again and hope this serves as a warning to others that might want to use them.
Regards

Hi, sounds very like the experience we are having with PSS.
Our son's pine bed was totally trashed when they reassembled here. We had a number of items broken due to bad packing, plus we now have deep scratches in our lovely teak garden table (they also snapped the matching garden parasol). We have had the claim in almost 2 months and despite numerous emails and phone calls still have heard nothing.
Feel the same as you, £500 down the drain. Not impressed with PSS and def wouldn't recommend.

It's a shame, should not have bothered with insurance and just payed my own damages, would have been cheaper. I will make sure to send the head honcho a link to some of these happy threads....lol
