Adults in many organizations are forced to behave like infants, and "corporate speak", as someone here called it, is just a manifestation of that.

My favourite adopted American-ism is "drink the Kool-Aid."

I refuse to subscribing to drinking the CBSAs Kool Aid as its certainly not sweet enough for me
Now being used in corporate speak and terminology as agreeing with what the company is doing and subscribing to being a good corporate lackey.
Keep drinking the Kool Aid and everything will be ok.

You can buy it in packages from Safeway etc. Add water and sugar if required shake or stir and voila Kool Aid. Comes in all sorts of flavours and colours.

I was at a conference with work yesterday and at the end of the day they started talking about next steps... "for quick wins, take advantage of the low-hanging fruit" and I had to stifle my laughter.
