She'd consider anyone with relevant qualifications and experience, though her staffing situation is pretty stable with low turnover. She owns Tod Mountain Cafe.

If you want a mountain lifestyle at a year round resort, consider Sun Peaks. It's the 2nd largest ski resort in BC. My wife owns a business here, and summer trade typically rivals winter turnover, so you're not potentially stuck with just a seasonal winter job.
The resort has municipality status, so there are amenities like a school, doctors surgery etc. Greater scope for a year-round career than somewhere small like Red Mountain, Vernon etc.

Kamloops to Sun Peaks drive time about an hour.
Rossland to Red Mountian drive time 5-10 minutes.
And for what it's worth, when I lived there, Vernon to Silver Star, 30 minutes.
When I was in Vernon, I knew a couple of younger people from NZ that worked at the hill. They could never afford to live at the hill and the gas to get back and worth almost made it not worth working at the hill - but the skiing draw was to big to pass up.
Getting a job from R I C H's wife may trump all though

A little different if you want to live at the hill I guess. One thing to consider is where you paln on living and where you will be working.
