Re: Returning I-94A Us departure record
Return the I-94! Someone on here recently reported being denied an ESTA (and therefore couldn't fly into the US) because he hadn't handed in the I-94 when he left the US on a previous trip. He was eventually flagged as an overstay. He then attempted a land crossing from Canada into the US but was delayed for 4 hours by US immigration while he sorted it out.
We are certainly going to return the I94 before the 3 months is up - no question about that - I just wanted to check whether it would have been recorded somewhere that we had left the US/re-entered Canada on the 4 day trip, because we didn't get any stamps in our passports/didn't hand it in at the time.
Or whether they might think we had been there for the whole 3 months.
According to the tool Jenellapea posted the link to it was recorded correctly on their system that we departed.
