Resume question
I am currently changing my resume to fit the Canadian expectation (thanks for the info in the wiki peeps!), and have a question that I hope someone may have some helpful guidance on.
My career is in gas distribution, and for the large part was with British Gas. I have always done a chronological type cv here, and see no reason to change this style. However, I took a break in career and travelled the world for a year - usually I show this as a single line in the 'professional experience' order (mainly to show there is continuity of my career path with no gap). My question is, should I still show this for my Canadian resume? Or should I omit the information? Thanks in anticipation of several mind bending comments I'm sure lol  Vic |
Re: Resume question
Id skip it, its not relevant to your ability to do the job. Hard enough to keep a resume down to two pages as it is.
